The Loop Dubai: a crazy project for the city and its inhabitants
The Dubai government has no shortage of ideas (and resources!) to make the lives of its residents a little more pleasant every day. With The Loop, Dubai will offer its residents more than 93 additional kilometers of pedestrian and cycling areas. All of this will be tempered and beautifully landscaped, of course. Focus on this incredible project that could well be completed in the next few years.
The objectives of The Loop Dubai
Connecting people to each other is the main mission of The Loop. The project will be 93 kilometers long and will be entirely reserved for pedestrians and cyclists. Thus, Dubai will offer an alternative way to travel in a city where the car is still the preferred mode of transportation. It will be necessary to get out of the car business very quickly and Dubai intends to take the initiative.
The Loop in detail

This pharaonic project will be much more than a simple pedestrian road accompanied by a bicycle path. Find below the main characteristics and advantages of the project:
- 93 kilometers in length
- Controlled temperature
- 100% renewable energy for power supply
- An architectural and engineering marvel
- Additional activities for residents
- Encouragement of sports and walking
- Vertical farms integrated into the project
What stage is the project at?
The project is still under study, and construction has not yet begun. The release of this project in early February 2023 shows that Dubai will not be left behind, but will instead be a forerunner, again and again. We will keep you updated on the progress of The Loop Dubai project in the coming weeks and months on the Dubai Immo Blog.
