28 Dubai neighborhoods get new names

The Dubai Land Department has announced the renaming of 28 Dubai neighborhoods. From now on, you'll have to get used to calling well-known neighborhoods such as Dubai Sports City and Emirates Hills by a different name.

The Dubai Land Department has made the name change official.

New districts: what impact on residents' lives?

Residents will have to get used to these new neighborhood names first. To begin with, they'll have to think about modifying the addresses on official documents, or even when ordering remotely. We can imagine that it will take some time for current Dubai residents to identify well-known neighborhoods such as Arabian Ranches, Motor City, Sport City and Festival City by their new names.

Dubai: new street names soon?

The Government of Dubai has recently announced changes to the names of certain streets, or the creation of building or residence numbers. These changes are being implemented by the authorities to help make life easier for residents. Calls for ideas for new street names are currently being issued by the Government.
