What are the prices of apartments in the Al Safa district?
In this Al Safa neighborhood, you'll find several housing options, including apartments. The district's privileged location, coupled with a magnificent view of the Canal, means that prices are generally higher than in some other outlying districts.
For a studio apartment, purchase prices start at around 130,000 to 150,000 euros, rising to 180,000 euros in the most modern and luxurious residences. One-bedroom apartments generally start at between 200,000 and 250,000 euros. For 2, 3 or 4-bedroom apartments, prices climb significantly, often to between 350,000 and 700,000 euros, or even more depending on amenities and location.
Factors influencing prices
Several factors have an impact on prices in Al Safa. First, the neighborhood's location, which we've already mentioned several times. It's close to the Dubai Canal and Safa Park. You'll also be able to enjoy some magnificent views.
Then there's the quality of the new residences themselves, and access to services such as a swimming pool, gym, security, private cinema and much more.
Finally, external amenities also have an impact on rates. Access to healthcare facilities, international schools, public transport and even a shopping mall are all valued by property developers.
Cost of renting an apartment in Al Safa
Renting an apartment in the Al Safa district costs around 1,000 to 1,500 euros a month, or the equivalent of 12 to 18,000 euros a year. Please note, however, that payments are made on an annual basis. In other words, you pay the total amount of your rent at once, for the next twelve months. For larger, more luxurious apartments (2 bedrooms or more), rents can exceed 2,500 euros per month. Once again, there are many criteria to take into account here (surface area, services, location, etc.).
Sports and activities in Al Safa
Sports centers and gymnasiums
Are you thinking of living in Dubai's Al Safa district? If you're a sports enthusiast, this is a very interesting decision. In this community, you'll find a fine selection of gyms (Fitness First, in particular) as well as dedicated sports clubs. The Safa Park Tennis Court, for example, is just the thing for those who love yellow ball.
You can also take advantage of gyms in luxury residences, often equipped with swimming pools and fitness rooms. A short drive away, in the neighboring Jumeirah district, the Dubai Ladies Club offers special activities for women, including yoga and swimming.
Parks and green spaces
Al Safa is particularly renowned for its green jewel: Safa Park, a vast 64-hectare area ideal for walks, jogging or family picnics. With its lakes, playgrounds and bicycle paths, this park is a must-see for residents.
The park is located on the banks of the Dubai Canal, one of the city's other most popular spots, particularly for its walks and spectacular views. Green, natural spaces where it's good to take a walk, helping to make the Al Safa community a perfect neighborhood for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Leisure activities
One of the main attractions of the Al Safa district is its family aspect, thanks in particular to the presence of Safa Park, which we mentioned earlier. Here, you can take your children for a walk, have fun and play.
Nearby, the City Walk shopping center, just a few minutes away by car (5 minutes, to be precise), combines shopping, restaurants and entertainment like the open-air cinema or the Green Planet amusement park (an indoor zoo, with a large garden, only 8 minutes away by car).
Bicycle paths along the Dubai Canal attract cyclists, while the expatriate community, particularly French-speaking, is well represented here, facilitating integration and encounters thanks to local events and social clubs.
Health
Hospitals and clinics
Al Safa is home to a number of clinics and hospitals. These include the Circle Care Clinic and the Valiant Clinic & Hospital. Another good option is the Mediclinic City Hospital. Finally, you can also visit the Centre Médical Clémenceau Hospital (CMC Hospital Dubai), located in Dubai Healthcare City Phase 2, in the Al Jaddaf district. The latter is not too far away and is fairly easy to get to.

Public transport in Dubai Al Safa
Bus and metro lines
Unfortunately, there is as yet no metro station in Dubai's Al Safa district. However, just ten minutes away are two of the city's busiest metro stations, at
Business Bay as well as
Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station. You can then get to just about anywhere in the city. As for buses, there are two options: line 8 and line 28.
Accessibility and frequency
Public transport in Dubai (metro and bus) is relatively efficient. They run every 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day and the season. The first metro runs at around 5.30 a.m., while the very last runs at around midnight on weekdays. At weekends, it's a little more convenient, with the last train running at around 1 a.m., so you can make the most of your evening (don't worry, the VTC service in Dubai is also very efficient, for those who want to get home even later).

Other aspects to consider at Al Safa
Safety and quality of life
Crime rates
The Al Safa district is one of Dubai's most secure areas (which, in any case, it already is). In fact, the police have a strong presence and are on the move at all times. It's very easy to report a problem to them, and the applicable laws are relatively strict and severe.
This helps to make Dubai one of the safest places on the planet, even if, unfortunately, there is no such thing as zero risk. So don't forget to keep an eye on your belongings, even if we reassure you: you're hardly at risk at all!
Security services
In the event of a problem, there are several emergency numbers to call. Naturally, the one you call will depend on your situation. Here's who to contact in case of need:
- Font: 999
- Ambulance: 998
- Firefighters: 997
The people on the other end of the phone have a perfect command of English and will be able to respond to your every need. This helps to reinforce the sense of security that expatriates and visitors to the city can feel.
Eco-responsibility in the Al Safa district
Dubai has put in place a series of important measures, with the aim of eventually establishing itself as one of the international leaders in eco-responsible development and construction. The idea? To attract investors with an ecological conscience, and to get rid of the image that may cling to the Emirate, wrongly seen as a place where the environment is not taken into account. As such, the real estate developments are respectful of natural resources.
