Dubai Real Estate Market Figures for May 2025

Dubai's real estate market experienced another month of growth in May 2025. The market continues to perform very well, as evidenced by the figures presented in this article. International buyers continue to invest in real estate in Dubai , where demand for housing has never been higher.

Sharp increase in sales volume and transactions

18,693 sales were recorded in March 2025 by the Dubai Land Department. This represents a 6% increase on March 2025, which held the previous record for a month of May. In terms of volume, the total value of transactions exceeded 16 billion euros, up 43.9% on the same period last year. D

No drop in rents in sight

Rental prices continue to rise in Dubai. The average price of a rental apartment is €20,000 per year, a 6.7% increase compared to May 2025. Villas are even more expensive. Renting a villa in Dubai will cost an average of 15.2% more than in May 2024, or around €47,500 per year.

Record sales in May

The record-breaking apartment for May is located in the Asora Bay residence, owned by developer Meraas. It is a huge penthouse with a sea view, which sold for 164 million dirhams, or more than 40 million euros .

The most expensive villa is located on the Palm Jumeirah . A huge mansion with a private beach, it sold for 300 million dirhams, or around 75 million euros.
