Dubai is one of the most popular destinations for French expatriates. There are currently almost 30,000 of them, according to the records of the local French consulate. Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou - Sharjah

The Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou is one of, if not the most renowned French school in Dubai. And it's not just one school, as it also caters for kindergarten, primary and junior high school pupils.

French curriculum courses are taught, as well as Arabic, which is offered from PS (as well as English, which is compulsory from CP, German and Spanish). Latin classes are also available, starting in 5th grade!

To register, you need to fill in a registration form. This can be downloaded directly from the official website or collected on site. Annual tuition fees vary according to school level, from AED 26,500 for kindergarten to AED 48,000 for high school.

Lycée Libanais Francophone Privé

A second option often favored by families is the Lycée Libanais Francophone in Dubai. Once again, this school caters for students from kindergarten through to high school. Enrolling is easy too. All you have to do is download the application form, fill it in and provide all the required documents. Tuition fees are lower, ranging from AED 38,000 for kindergarten to AED 66,000 for high school.

Lycée Français Jean Mermoz

Another school in Dubai offering the French curriculum is the Lycée Jean Mermoz. Approved in 2019, this school welcomes a total of 1,200 students. Pupils range from nursery school to 2nd grade. There are 4 classes per level, with a maximum of 26 pupils per class.

It's a perfectly located school! Tuition fees range from AED 37,900 for the youngest students, to almost AED 61,000 for juniors. Languages, such as English and Arabic, are studied from kindergarten onwards.

AFLEC International High School

Would you like to enroll your child in an international school where he or she can follow the French curriculum? ThenAFLEC 's Lycée International is an excellent choice.

The latter is located in Oud Metha on theAl Nasr complex site and covers all levels, from kindergarten to final year. English and Arabic are taught from the earliest levels. Tuition fees range from around AED 27,000 to AED 58,600.

The International Concept for Education (ICE)

TheInternational Concept for Education (ICE) is a school that opened its doors in 2013. It offers a curriculum for students from pre-school to collège. It is an AEFE-approved school, and offers the choice of following either the French or British curriculum. A bilingual option is also available.

The school is located in the heart of Meydan. Fees range from AED 46,000 to AED 85,00 per year. After-school activities include zumba, tennis, ballet, basketball, gymnastics, soccer, martial arts, hip hop and visual arts!
