What documents do I need to provide to benefit from a payment plan in Dubai?

Only your passport will be required. The promoters rightly consider that once you pay your first instalment (usually 10%) and the notary fees (4%), you know that you will be able to afford the following instalments. If you cannot pay the second and third installments, your money could be lost. In fact, to benefit from these payment plans, you agree not to be allowed to resell your apartment until you have paid 30 or 40% of the total price, depending on the promoter you are buying with.

The most common payment plans for apartments in Dubai are for 12 years. This means that you will have to pay a certain percentage between booking your apartment and handing over the keys. The second part will be paid over 10 years after the handover.
