Celebrity districts in Dubai: where do the stars live?

the stars' favorite neighborhoods in Dubai

On social networks and on television, stars and celebrities don't hesitate to showcase their life in Dubai. It's a life of luxury that has many people dreaming (and rightly so)!

If there's one thing you need to know, it's that these celebrities live in Dubai all year round. They're not just passing through, and they're not being paid to advertise the Emirates. These images are a true reflection of their lives here.

The question is, where do they live? Because, as you can imagine, they are somewhat removed from the crowds. In this guide, we invite you to join us in discovering the areas of Dubai most popular with the world's biggest stars.

Dubai's most popular celebrity districts

Here's a selection of five of Dubai's most popular celebrity neighborhoods, with a few examples of celebrities who would have invested in real estate there.

Palm Jumeirah

This is one of Dubai's most popular areas for celebrities. It's an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree, known for its magnificent villas with direct access to a private beach. Many international celebrities, such as David and Victoria Beckham, own their own property here. One of Dubai's most iconic locations, without a doubt!

Marina

In Dubai, the Marina district is one of the most popular areas for celebrities, not least because it's close to everything, just 15 minutes from Downtown, the Dubai Opera House, the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. It's also well-connected, offering the opportunity to enjoy beautiful waterfront promenades. A number of stars, including former athletes such as Roger Federer, have luxurious apartments here.

Dubai Hills

In the Dubai Hills, you'll find exceptional villas that sell for top dollar. Some even fetch more than AED 100 million (equivalent to around €25 million). It's a private, exclusive area, where, in the case of certain properties or projects, virtually only the very wealthy are able to settle. If you move in or stroll around, you may well meet some of the celebrities who have come to live in the Emirates.

Emirates Hills

Emirates Hills is nicknamed the "Beverly Hills of Dubai". Its nickname alone suggests that the financially well-off are able to invest in and afford luxury real estate. According to some reports, American actress and singer Lindsay Lohan bought an apartment there in 2016. No doubt other stars have their quarters here too.

Downtown

Some of the world's biggest stars have also invested in an apartment in Dubai's Downtown district. To be more precise, Giorgio Armani, Tom Cruise and Cristiano Ronaldo have even bought their own apartments in the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower (828 meters). The result is an absolutely breathtaking, magnificent view over the rest of the city.

You too can invest in these areas of Dubai. In fact, none of them are "reserved" for the world's most famous personalities. Real estate projects are frequently announced, whether for studiosstudios apartments multi-bedroom apartments or townhouses. Just stay tuned, or contact us, to find out more.

Other districts of interest to celebrities in Dubai

Other neighborhoods, not mentioned above, but highly sought-after, could be of interest to celebrities. These include the city's most expensive neighborhoods, such as Mohammed Bin Rashid City and Arabian Ranches, with its sumptuous villas. Emaar Beachfront, with its access to the sea, is also an option that celebrities may be tempted to consider in the future.

But the district that is likely to attract the most interest in the coming years is none other than Dubai Islands. It's a district made up of a total of five islands, featuring superb apartments and exclusive villas in quiet, secure neighborhoods.

We can also imagine that Palm Jebel Ali, a "new palm" project that was launched and then halted before rising from the ashes, could arouse a great deal of celebrity interest, but at present, it's still far too early to consider anything.
